They have users (internal developers), a competitor (every team building it themselves, or going straight to AWS), a buyer (the CFO or CTO) and a renewal - the annual budget cycle. They run all of that on zero positioning, zero segmentation, and zero proof. So at budget time they walk in with a list of things they did, and a vendor walks into the same meeting with a story about what a business gets. The vendor wins.
