This conference holds great importance for the thriving Postgres Community on the West Coast.

Our team of top-tier engineers was eagerly present to address any inquiries attendees might bring forth. Attendees were excited to join in. Anyone could stop by our booth and pick up some cool Percona gifts. It was a chance for everyone to have fun and get something special.

We also had organized a raffle of a Flipper Zero at the booth.

On the evenings, the Percona team usually gathered for a team dinner. Meeting face-to-face every now and then is really important when you work remotely!

CEO, Percona

Peter Zaitsev is CEO and co-founder of Percona. As one of the foremost experts on MySQL strategy and optimization, Peter leveraged both his technical vision and entrepreneurial skills to grow Percona from a two-person shop to one of the most respected open source companies in the business. A serial entrepreneur, Peter co-founded his rst startup while attending Moscow State University where he majored in Computer Science. Peter is a co-author of High Performance MySQL: Optimization, Backups, and Replication, one of the most popular books on MySQL performance. Peter frequently speaks as an expert lecturer at Open Source Databases and related conferences. He has also been tapped as a contributor to Fortune and DZone.

Percona, PostgreSQL Tech Lead

Charly Batista is currently PostgreSQL Tech Lead at Percona. Possesses over twelve (12) years of experience in various areas of IT including Database Administration, Data Analysis, Systems Analysis and Software Development. Strong analytical skills combined with experience in object oriented programming techniques. Technical Leader for more than four (4) years for the Developer Team. Born in Brazil and now living in Shanghai-China.
