Daniel is a database engineer who spent years doing MySQL consulting and support, including a long stint working with the Percona ecosystem. He now builds bintrail, an open source (Apache 2.0) tool that captures MySQL row events from the binlog, indexes them, and turns them into recovery SQL, point-in-time reconstruction, and a Parquet archive tier.
