Percona Live 2026 Recap: A 20th Birthday and one Incredible Community

What an unforgettable few days! Percona Live 2026 lit up the Bay Area with the energy, brilliance, and passion of the global open source database community—and this year, the celebration was even bigger as we marked Percona’s 20th birthday.

From packed sessions and thought-provoking talks to spontaneous hallway conversations and late-day networking, the event was buzzing from start to finish. With an all-star lineup of speakers, attendees dove into everything from MySQL and PostgreSQL to MongoDB and cloud-native innovation, all while sharing ideas, solving challenges, and building lasting connections.

The excitement doesn’t stop here—we’re already gearing up for Percona Live Amsterdam (September 9–11, 2026) and would love for you to be part of it as we bring this same vibrant community across the pond. Secure your spot now!

Plus, it’s never too early to start looking ahead—be sure to mark your calendar for next year’s Bay Area event (May 11–13, 2027). If this year was any indication, it’s going to be something truly special. Until then, thank you for being part of the journey—we can’t wait to do it all again with you!

Recordings of keynote, talks, and workshop presentations from Percona Live will be coming soon on the Percona YouTube page!

Open Source Summit North America

May 18–20, 2026.

Percona had an incredible time at Open Source Summit North America in Minneapolis, Minnesota, connecting with so many passionate members of the open source community.

Our booth was buzzing with engaging discussions, hands-on demos from AWS/Valkey, and plenty of excitement around Percona’s solutions—plus, of course, our ever-popular goat swag flying off the counter.

We were also proud to see Percona speakers Kyle Avants and Yash Panchal share their expertise on stage, adding to an event full of collaboration, learning, and meaningful networking.
