About the event

This year’s conference is the 15th Annual PostgreSQL Conference Europe. The conference is organised by PostgreSQL Europe, with participation from most of the PostgreSQL user groups around Europe, and is intended to be an important meeting and cooperation point for users both in and out of Europe. PGConf.EU is a unique chance for European PostgreSQL users and developers to catch up, learn, build relationships, get to know each other and consolidate a real network of professionals that use and work with PostgreSQL.

Community Leadership – Kai Wagner

We are also proud that Kai Wagner, Senior Engineering Manager for PostgreSQL at Percona, is serving on the PGConf.EU 2025 Selection Committee. Kai is a long-time open source contributor and speaker, actively involved in projects like Ceph, openATTIC, and PostgreSQL. As a community builder and PGConf Germany organizer, he helps shape the PostgreSQL ecosystem and ensure diverse, impactful content is represented at the conference.

Edith Puclla is a Technology Evangelist of Percona Corporation, studied at 42 Silicon Valley School in California in 2020, and was part of the Outreachy Internship in 2021. She has a background in DevOps and is a Docker and Kubernetes enthusiast.

Jan Wieremjewicz

Jan is a Senior Product Manager at Percona, leading the products for PostgreSQL. He has vast experience in the development, deployment and maintenance of enterprise systems.

Professionally, he is passionate about simple solutions that solve complicated problems and user experience that maximizes the product potential.

Privately he is a foodie by day, a tech geek into graphic novels, video and board games by night and parent/spouse in between.

Having spent already almost three years in Percona, most of us learned that he has enough energy and topics to fill in any space and time.
