Community Ascent

Every contribution counts as a step up the mountain. Filing a bug, opening a PR, answering a question on the forum, writing a blog post, or sitting down with our engineers to tell them what’s working and what isn’t — it all moves you forward. This isn’t only for the people writing code. However you engage, it counts.

You’re at Basecamp the moment you show up. From there, you climb based on how you take part: through GitHub, the forum, content, or direct feedback to our engineering team. Stay active in more than one of these in the same month and your points multiply. Climb further and the rewards get better, from stickers and digital badges up to hoodies, Challenge Coins, and an invite to Percona Live.

This is open to everyone in the community, whether you’ve been contributing for years or you’re about to open your first issue. There’s no single right way to climb, and no minimum experience required to start.
